Dr Benjamin Erzetic is a registered Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) with the recently created Medical and Dental Boards of Australia (AHPRA).
Dr Erzetic has been a Visiting Medical Specialist (VMO) at the Mater Public Adults’ and Childrens’ Hospitals since 2002 and is closely involved in the development of the new Queensland Children’s Hospital. Dr Erzetic is also closely involved in the education and training of new surgeons at a national level as a member of the Board of Studies for the College of OMS Surgeons as well as locally as the Director of Training for the Queensland MaxilloFacial Surgical training program.
He is a current Examiner for the College of OMS surgeons and the Chair of the Training Advisory Committee. Currently he is Consultant Surgeon to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and is directly involved in the management of facial trauma arising from our serving personnel.
Personal
Dr Erzetic is married with two children and enjoys participating in outdoor sports as well as travel and family time.
