Dentoalveolar surgery refers to operations on the teeth and supporting tissues (bone and soft tissue). Surgery can range from the removal of infected or decayed teeth to the removal of cysts and pathology involving the supporting bones and soft tissue.

Depending on the complexity and the patient’s needs this can be done as a local anaestheteic procedure in the Greenslopes rooms or a general anaesthetic procedure in hospital.
