Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are a common source of pain and discomfort with patients. They are commonly known as third molars and often result in infection, pressure, headaches and pain of the jaws. They commonly become symptomatic in the patient’s late teens or early twenty’s but may affect people at any stage of adulthood.
Treatment generally involves the removal of the indicated wisdom tooth which may be done as a local or general anaesthetic procedure depending on the complexity and patients’ wishes.
